Lady Lions earn honors

The Washington County Ladies Lions Club recently received a number of awards from Past International Director Jo Al Picone (right). The District 2S5 2018-19 Robert F. Koennecke award by the Seguin Noon Lions Club was presented to club president Pat Luckemeyer (left). The top club in the district is selected by district leaders based on areas of outstanding service, levels of service in the community, state and internationally, service projects and involvement. Picone also presented the banner patch for the fourth year as a 4-diamond service challenge club. The club met all four levels of the International challenges for the four years of the challenge. This achievement level earns all 72 members of the WCLLC with a commorative pin that will never be reproduced. Picone also presented the club with the LCIF patch for meeting the International president Gudrin Yngradottir diabetes challenge donation.
