Chelsea Lyn Kuhlmann and Michael Raymond Prestera III, both of Rosenberg, were united in marriage June, 1, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brenham.

Deacon Al Prescott performed the double-ring ceremony. Wedding music was provided by Vicki Wehmeyer, pianist.

The bride is the daughter of Keith and Patricia Kuhlmann of Brenham and the granddaughter of the late Max and Martha Baranowski, May Dell Kuhlmann of Brenham and the late Harold Kuhlmann.

The groom is the son of Robert and Kathie Prestera of Crockett and the grandson of the late William and Nancy Aldrich and the late Michael and Nancy Prestera.

The bride wore a designer ivory sheath gown with champagne underlay. The dress was adorned with crystal beading and embroidered appliques. The gown also featured a high neckline and scalloped hemline and a floor-length train. She also wore a finger-tip veil with silver embroidery and clear and silver beading.

She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, rosita vendella with pollo roses accented with million star. The bouquet was wrapped in glitter pink double faced satin ribbon and featured her great-grandmother’s rosary.

The bride carried out the tradition of something old (her great-grandmother’s blue rosary), something new (her wedding gown), something borrowed (her aunt’s stud earrings) and something blue (the rosary and a sixpence in her shoe).

Matron of honor was Jordan Curry, college friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sara Dreyer, Madi Ruiz and Madison Bridges, childhood friends of the bride; Felicity Larsen, college friend of the bride; and Katie Prestera, sister of the groom. They wore blush floor-length chiffon gowns featuring halter necklines. They carried bouquets of white hydrangeas and a collar of million star wrapped in a taupe textured ribbon.

Best man was Paul Prestera, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Jon McDonald, Brent Broussard, Darrel Stevens and Ryan Smith, all friends of the groom; and Ryan Antkowiak, cousin of the bride.

Charlotte Craig, goddaughter of the groom, was the flower girl. She wore an ivory floor length gown with a train. She carried a bouquet of rosita vendella and baby’s breath. Jax Prestera, nephew of the groom, was the ringbearer.

Serving as ushers were Matthew Prenzler and Nicholas Prenzler, cousins of the bride; and Ryan Gaskamp, childhood friend of the bride.

Micayla Moreno, cousin of the bride, was the guest registrar and Savannah Grimm, cousin of the bride, was the program attendant.

A chicken fried steak and sausage dinner was held at Harmonie Hall. A dance featuring the music of the Anthony Moreno Band followed the dinner.

The bride’s four-tiered red velvet cake was adorned with fresh roses. The groom’s white cake with raspberry and lemon filling was decorated in a fishing theme.

Members of the houseparty were Dorothy Antkowiak, Marie Prenzler, Amy Baranowski, Sara Provence, Jessalynn Bolcerek, Randi Prestera, Margarita Perez and Gina Gilmer.

The bride is a graduate of Brenham High School and Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. She is currently pursuing a registered nursing degree.

The groom is a graduate of Foster High School and the University of Houston at Victoria. He is currently a project manager for an oil and gas company in Houston.

Following a wedding trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple is residing in Rosenberg.
