After being in the 600 range of total coronavirus cases since Sept. 15, Washington County hit 700 positive cases Sunday.

Cases have steadily increased by a handful each day, with the only major jump visible in the last month reported on Oct. 17 when cases jumped up 19 from the day before. However, the Texas Department of State Health Services clarified the jump, saying about 14 of those cases were from cases originating in July.
