Brenham ISD OK’ed research for and possible creation of a plan to introduce rapid COVID-19 testing to the district during a recent meeting of the district’s Board of Trustees.

BISD Superintendent Tylor Chaplin spoke to the board Monday and sought approval to begin formulating an plan to bring free rapid testing to the district, one that would involve BISD’s COVID-19 Response Team, as well as the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and the Texas Department of Emergency Management (TDEM).
