Washington County cases per day

As of Thursday, there are 122 active and 181 recovered cases in Washington County. There are 32 confirmed COVID-19 deaths. The Office of Emergency Management receives COVID-19 case data from the state’s Department of State Health Services (DSHS) and the Local Health Authority,

The Brenham Police Department and Washington County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday in a joint press release it will not “cite, detain or arrest any person” for a violation of not wearing a mask or face covering in public.

According to the release, BPD and WCSO have both received numerous calls regarding Gov. Greg Abbott’s Executive Order No. 29, which said further measures are needed to reduce the growing spread of COVID-19, and includes requiring the use of face coverings.
