More than 90% of the hospital care provided in the last two months by Baylor Scott & White Medical Center — Brenham was not related to infections of the novel coronavirus.

In an email, the Baylor Scott & White hospital system said though they’ve prepared for an influx of COVID-19 cases, the Brenham community’s “adherence to stay at home orders have helped to bend the curve and slow the spread” of the novel coronavirus — thus avoiding a major strain on the area’s medical system so far.
