BSSLC receives vaccine shipment

Robin Blankenburg, director of pharmacy at Brenham State Supported Living Center, opens one of the first boxes of the COVID-19 vaccine to arrive at the center. BSSLC received its first shipment of vaccine Wednesday and began vaccinating staff. Staff who want to get vaccinated will be offered the vaccine, manufactured by Moderna, increasing our ability to protect the health and safety of residents in our care while we continue responding to this pandemic. There are approximately 778 staff who work on campus.
