City Council

Brenham City Manager James Fisher talks to members of the city council Thursday afternoon.

The city of Brenham may be reimbursed $30,000 or more spent on expenses related to the COVID-19 pandemic due to Gov. Greg Abbott’s Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF).

According to Chief Financial Officer and Assistant City Manager Carolyn Miller, the city has racked up at least $30,000 in expenses related to COVID-19. These expenses can be attributed to things such as sanitation stations, contractors to assist with cleaning, signage for parks and other items according to City Manager James Fisher. The $30,000 does not include the $50,000 donation to the Washington County COVID-19 Response Fund.
