The Brenham City Council and the city of Brenham released a statement today ensuring residents the city is reviewing police standards to provide “exceptional service to our community that includes accountability, respect, transparency and integrity.”

City Manager James Fisher said the Brenham Police Department is evaluating its procedures in light of police brutality being at the forefront of many conversations.
