Jail during a pandemic

The outbreak of the novel coronavirus inside the Washington County jail is worsening.

According to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice data from July 27, a total of 11 inmates have now tested positive for the novel coronavirus and one remains hospitalized outside the jail. At least 12 inmates are currently quarantined.
