Pyro perfection

Donald Stafford restocks the Mr. B Fireworks stand at 3900 Highway 36 North Monday afternoon in preparation for the 4th of July. Stafford said business is good as Independence Day approaches.

City of Brenham residents should let freedom ring — not fireworks — this Fourth of July holiday.

Fireworks are illegal to possess or use within 5,000 feet of city limits according to the Brenham code of ordinances. However, fireworks are allowed for sale in the extraterritorial jurisdiction and county.
