With a rise in cases of COVID-19 being seen in Washington County and limited availability for hospitals in the Brazos Valley — including zero ICU beds available — the Texas Department of Emergency Management will be providing free drive-thru COVID-19 testing for the next three weeks.

The testing site will be at the Washington County Fairgrounds on Jan. 11-12, 18-19 and 25-26. Testing hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays. Preregistration is not required, but is available at https://tdem.texas.gov.
