In spite of the COVID-19 pandemic, life is going on for Washington County residents; This includes new life. According to Baylor Scott & White, Brenham had 104 births from March 15 to the end of July. Many women are now taking on pregnancy and new life with an added stressor: COVID-19.

The birth of Mandy Henke’s son, Lane, and the beginning of his life has been shrouded by COVID-19, including an emergency C-section for Mandy after having an unknown illness at the end of February.
