Love them or hate them, murals have become a conversation piece for Brenham. This year’s Texas Arts and Music Festival ended with two new murals in downtown Brenham and a swarm of people to watch them being created.

After painting thousands of bluebonnets in an alleyway, Austin-based artist Luis Angulo reflected on his time painting here, creating a mural that was “meant to be.”

I'm proud to say that this beautiful mural was painted by my nephew-in-law, Luis Angulo. He is a fabulous artist and an exceptional human being. I highly recommend making a trip to Brenham to see his work and the many wonderful murals by other talented artists.
