The city of Brenham will be instituting new rates for services rendered by the utilities department. The new charges will be for uninstalling or reinstalling electric services, meter pulling and reinstallation and upsizing existing services.

In announcing the new rates, Deputy General Manager of Utilities Alton Sommerfield was clear about one thing.
