Festival Hill Institute

The 49th anniversary of Festival Hill ends this weekend with a free concert Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the Festival Concert Hall with the best of the 2019 Chamber Music Program presented by the young artists. Saturday brings us three concerts: the first at 1:30 p.m. with the 2019 Percussion Showcase; one at 3:30 p.m. with the Closing Chamber Music Concert featuring music by composers Brahms and Lachner; and one at 7:30 p.m. at the concert hall with music by Berlioz conducted by Martin Fischer-Dieskau. As a special bonus to the final concert, mezzo-soprano Sasha Cooke will be performing.
