Showing off a piece of history

Brenham Heritage Museum Director Doug Price (left) and Jo Ann Wolf put up a poster of Dee L. Hogan, who served in World War I, in the Brenham Bus Depot. The poster was made by Janel Jefferson, who has been doing research on African Americans who served in WWI. Washington County had more 220 African-Americans serve in that war. The picture is of Jefferson’s great uncle.
