Lenora ("Mrs. Z") Zieschang, 85, died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019, in her residence at Hudson Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center in Bryan, Texas. She was surrounded by members of her family, including both her daughters, Gail and Jill, and her nephew, Jim. Mrs. Zieschang leaves for Heaven to join her husband Edwin "Zeke" Zieschang, who had previously passed from this earth in November of 2010.

Mrs. Zieschang was born Lenora Evelyn Kobs on Jan. 8, 1934, to Harvey and Clara Kobs. She and her parents, along with her brother Floyd, moved to Washington County from Houston's Addicks Dam area in 1947, relocating the family's dairy farm. They never regretted their decision to relocate near Brenham and were happy and engaged residents of the community since that time.
