Aside from analyzing his team’s passing, running, catching, blocking and tackling, Eliot Allen had an additional responsibility added to his agenda Monday.

“Honestly, I’m just making sure we’ve got our masks on,” Brenham High School’s third-year head football coach told The Banner-Press during the Cubs’ first official practice. “Things change a little bit when you throw the helmets into play, so we’re dealing with that, and you’ve got to keep your eyes on everything.”
