Tien Pham

Sophomore Tien Pham will be one of the few returning to this season's young Cub team. “He was phenomenal last year and I expect a lot more things from him,” Brenham head coach Hector Guzman said.

It is no secret that the Brenham Cubs are a powerhouse in soccer, making it to the state playoffs for 19 consecutive years until last season’s District 19-5A realignment pitted eight playoff caliber teams against each other keeping Brenham out of the playoffs for the first time in decades.

“Last year, we had changes and soccer has kind of taken a step back, but we are working on getting it back to where it needs to be,” Brenham third year head coach Hector Guzman said. “Last year we got put in a new district where every team had pretty much made the playoffs so it was a fight for everyone; it was a much tougher district.”
