With Cedar Creek committed to running most of its offense through one player, Brenham demonstrated its ability to share the basketball, and it paid off.

Seniors Anthony Walton and Kameron Lewis scored 27 and 18 points, respectively, and junior Mauricio Chandler added 13 for the Cubs, who survived a 42-point night from Eagles senior Cory Canada to pick up a 77-69 non-district victory here Monday at Brenham High School.
