Like any great assist man would be expected to do, Haiden Lane deflects the credit from himself and puts a large amount of it on the collection of goal-scorers he’s had in his four years as a Brenham Cub midfielder.

It’s guys like Tyler Pieper, who scored the lion’s share of goals in the 2010 and 2011 seasons, and players like Kaden Kieke, who was a threat to put in any one of Lane’s corner kicks with his frame and timing.
