BURTON — The Burton High School boys basketball team proved it has a lot room for improvement after the season opener against Brazos on Friday night.

“It’s our first game (and) we still have a lot to work on,” Burton head coach Jonathan Knowles told The Banner-Press after the Panthers’ 66-28 loss in a non-district game to Brazos at Burton High School.
